Needed are packages of toolchain components (e.g. GCC and EGLIBC) that use
multiarch library paths.

There is currently a [Google Summer of Code 2012 project][gsoc-ma-x-toolchains]
to [develop such packages for Debian][gsoc-prop-thibg].
