+is a utility that installs files into binary package data
+directories. For each binary package, <b>oh-installfiles</b>
+moves files that match patterns in a file called
+<i>files</i> from the installation destination directory to
+the binary package&rsquo;s data directory.</p>

+provide data files should have a file named <i>files</i> in
+its metadata directory. This file is a list of patterns, one
+per line, that match files in the installation destination
+directory. The pathnames should be absolute &ndash; that is,
+they should be full filesystem paths like
+<i>/usr/bin/foo</i>.</p>
